Bellarmine rallied from a 2-1 deficit with a run in the sixth and the game-winning in the bottom of the seventh to stave off the upset attempt by the visiting Knights.
Nathan Chew had four hits, including two doubles and a solo home run, to pace the Bells' nine-hit attack.
Ollie McNamara, who got the win by throwing two innings of relief, had two hits, including a double.
With the game tied at 2, the Bells won it in the bottom of the seventh with a run off The King's Academy's Brandon Kinoshita. McClelland singled, moved to second on Emmet Arnott's walk and scored on a Chew double.

Aiden James allowed one run in four innings of work to outduel Woodside sophomore Colby Fernandez and allow the Tigers to savage the split in the two-game PAL-Ocean Division series.
Fernendez was exceptional once again, giving up just two runs on four hits, while striking out 10.
Junior shortstop Brody Finale returned to the lineup after a week off with a sore back and had two hits. Andrew Ortiz and Charles Dalrymple had two hits each for the Wildcats.

Sophomore Paxton Holden had a career-high three hits, while Riley Jackson had two hits, including a home run, and three RBI'S for the Cougars, who pulled off the upset of the 13th-ranked Knights.
Clark Colucci, Jacob Couto and Ian Ehrhardt had two hits each for Half Moon Bay, which had 13 safeties in the game.
Kai Kung came out of the bullpen to pick up the win. The senior lefty remained unbeaten by throwing 3 2/3 innings and allowing just a run on one hit. He struck out eight.
Chuck Wynn had three hits, including a home run, and two RBI, for Menlo. Jack Freehill drove in three runs with a triple.

After beating Whitney, 8-7, earlier in the day in a game that was halted in the second inning on Wednesday, the Wildcats came back with a resounding victory over Bakersfield Christian to finish their week in Sacramento with three wins in four games.
Chase Frolich had two doubles and drove in a pair of runs, while Sully Roberts had two hits and Jackson Fitzpatrick two RBI.
Brady Simon had a triple as Los Gatos pounded out 10 hits and took full advantage of five Bakersfield Christian errors.
Senior Gavin Seiler picked up the victory on the mound.
Los Gatos will regroup in the South Bay before taking another road trip, this one to Nashville, Tennessee next week.

Junior right-hander Kyle McMillan, a Santa Clara commit, tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just four hits, while striking out seven in a win that allowed the Lancers to take three of four games at the Boras Family Classic.
Landon King had another big game with two hits, while Henry Dommer and Aaron Bonini also collected two hits each.
Perhaps the best news of the week for the Lancers was a strong day from Gino Cappellazzo, who missed all of last week with an injury. The senior catcher, another Santa Clara signee, drove in two runs with a double in the win.
