Hollister scored five runs in the third inning on Wednesday, chasing Jack Molise from the game and ending Menlo-Atherton's season with an 8-2 victory over the Bears at Sollecito Field in Monterey.
The loss prevents Menlo-Atherton, the PAL Bay Division champion, from advancing to Saturday's CCS-Division II title game. Instead, No. 5 Wilcox, an 8-2 winner over Capuchino in the other semifinal game, will face Hollister in Saturday's 5 p.m. title game at Excite Park in San Jose.
Molise, who was the Bears' most consistent pitcher this season, didn't make it out of the third inning. Little of it was his fault, though. He didn't allow a hit but hit two batters. The bulk of the damage was created by a Menlo-Atherton defense that committed seven errors.

Wilcox extended its lead with three runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth.
