SAN MATEO – Liam Shaw bounced back from last week's tough outing by picking up the victory as Hillsdale improved to 4-1 with a 4-2 win over visiting San Mateo on Monday,

The Knights managed just three hits off San Mateo lefty Christian Louie, who took a hard-luck loss. Louie also added a home run and a double.

Hillsdale's Tommy Schultz had two RBI, while Sean Passalacqua had two hits for the Bearcats.

Michael McCauley had three hits, while Nicholas Jang and Hunter Tamayo had two hits each as El Camino improved to 3-2 with a victory over its former PAL-Ocean Division rival.

Nick Lafon and Grady Lei had two hits each for the Vikings, who fell to 2-3.

Woodside 12, Lincoln 2

Cruz Torres had a season-high four hits, while Charles Dalrymple had three and Hunter Taylor and Mateus Mokhtarani two each as Woodside pounded out 17 hits in a lopsided win over Lincoln of San Francisco.

The Wildcats added seven doubles in the contest.
