Los Altos Eagles: 2025- 20-9, 8-6 SCVAL-De Anza Division. CCS-Division III semifinalist. Coach: Gabriel Stewart.

The Eagles served notice early on that they were a team to be noticed when they opened the season with a 3-2 extra-inning victory at Saint Francis.

Los Altos won six of its first seven games and finished near the middle of the SCVAL-De Anza Division. Unfortunately, a big injury to their top pitcher hindered their chances of a deep Central Coast Section tournament run.

This is a different year, and the Eagles are a different team. The Eagles lost to graduation seven players with at least 20 hits and about 90 percent of the innings thrown last season. In fact, the Eagles return just 87 at-bats and 32 innings pitched from last year's squad, meaning they will be a mostly untested squad.

Senior Derek Etherington accounts for most of those plate appearances after hitting .275 with 19 hits, including four doubles.

Anders Wood is the most experienced pitcher, putting together a 2-0 record in 17.1 innings of work. Mitesh Jain threw nine innings in 2025.
