Oracle games postponed until May 1-2

The games slated to be played Friday and Saturday at San Francisco's Oracle Park, have been postponed because of the threat of rain.

The games will be played Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2.

Carlmont and Hillsdale were scheduled to play a 5 p.m. game on Friday, while Half Moon Bay and Sequoia were slated to play at 8 p.m.

Capuchino and Burlingame were scheduled to play on Saturday at 6 p.m.

The new times and dates will be announced in the coming days.

The San Francisco Giants issues a release on Thursday, saying the decision to postpone the games was a collective decision between the Giants and school officials insisting that player safety and player and spectator enjoyment were at top of mind.
