Oracle Park to host April prep games

Home of the San Francisco Giants opens its doors to local teams, but each team must sell 1,000 tickets.

As the high school baseball season unfolds. Oracle Park will host three games featuring Peninsula Athletic League teams and an annual WCAL clash in April.

On April 10, Carlmont and Hillsdale will meet in a 5 p.m. start at Oracle, the home of the San Francisco Giants, while Half Moon Bay and Sequoia will play in the nightcap.

The following day, Capuchino and Burlingame will play at 6 p.m. at Oracle. Last year the Mustangs came away with a thrilling 1-0 victory on a shutout by senior Declan Mendel.

Click on the link of the school you wish to support to by purchasing tickets. There is a requirement that each school sell 1,000 tickets to a 2026 Giants home game.

Sunday, April 26 vs. Miami Marlins, 1:05 p.m.
Monday, May 4 vs. San Diego Padres, 6:45 p.m.
Friday, May 8 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 7:15 p.m.
Sunday, May 10 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 1:05 p.m.
Monday, May 25 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, 6:45 p.m.
Tuesday, June 9 vs. Washington Nationals, 6:45 p.m.
Monday, July 6 vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 6:45 p.m.
Tuesday, July 7 vs. T0ronto Blue Jays, 6:45 p.m.

Tickets must be purchased before April 10 to receive the complimentary game ticket. The Giants ask that you purchase enough tickets for all family members and friends who will be attending the high school games.

After the ticket for the Giants game has been purchased, a separate ticket for the high school games will be send within a day or two.

In addition, Sacred Heart Cathedral and St. Ignatius Prep will renew their Bruce Mahoney Game rivalry at Oracle on April 18. The two teams have been playing there for years. Last year, the Wildcats broke a 2-2 tie in the sixth on Chase Gordon's bases-loaded double in Triples Alley to provide the winning margin.
