Mark O'Grady scattered five hits as No. 3 Burlingame advance to the semifinals with a shutout victory over Leigh.
O'Grady worked efficiently. He walked three and struck out three in his 94-pitch shutout victory.
The Panthers extended Shawn Scott's coaching career by at least one more game. Scott announced this week he is calling it quits after coaching the last 16 years at Burlingame.
Burlingame will play Palma in the semifinals.

The Monarchs, who lost consecutive games to Sacred Heart two weeks ago, beat their WCAL foe when it mattered most by scoring single runs in four different innings.
Jay Kim allowed one run in three innings to pick up the win. Jonah Ferrell came on in relief to pick up the save.
Tyler Manago and Elijah Kroenung had two hits each for the Monarchs, while Noah Fishman, Felix Chang, Austin Mak and Max Whelan drove in runs.
Max Deninger and Teddy Lewis had two hits each for the Irish.
Mitty will take on top-seeded Carmel in Wednesday's semifinal round.

Owen Coupe and Masataka Shudo had two hits each for the Bears, who finished the season with a 14-14 record.
Carmel will meet Mitty in Wednesday's semifinal round.

Gonzales picked up the win by allowing just two runs in six innings of work.
Jackson Sims had two hits for the Vikings, while Rocco Razzeca had two hits for Palma, which will take on Burlingame in the semifinal round.
