Menlo School won its seventh straight CCS game, the longest streak in the entire section, by pounding out 13 hits and rolling to a victory over Christopher.
The Knights, who won the Division VI championship in 2024 and the Division V crown last year, advanced to the Division III semifinals against Aptos, a team they trounced by a 17-1 score in in early April. Chuck Wynn had three home runs in that game and drove in eight runs.
Wynn was at it again on Saturday. He collected two hits, including his Peninsula-leading 10th home run of the season, and driving in two runs.
Zach Roeder and Liam Widner had three hits each for the Knights, while Matthew Majalya had two hits and two RBI. Widner drove in three runs.

Aptos 3, Sacred Heart Prep 1
Rallin Covey allowed three runs in his final high school game as the Gators fell in their CCS opener to Aptos, 3-1.
Covey, the Southern California signee, struck out 8 and allowed just five hits, but Sacred Heart Prep couldn't muster enough offense against Cole McGillicuddy to advance out of the first round.
Jacob Kissinger had two RBI for the Mariners.

Hollister 7, Carlmont 6
Lightning struck for the second year in a row as Carlmont blew a three-run lead in the seventh inning and lost in the opening round.
Last year, they blew a three-run lead in the seventh to eventual CCS champion Santa Clara and lost on a solo home run in the ninth inning.
On Saturday, it was three hit batters that were followed by two singles, a wild pitch and another base hit, this one by sophomore Nate Candelaria to give the Haybalers the come-from-behind victory.
Levi Wellman had two hits including his third home run, while Nate Werbinski and Vishnu Iyer had two hits each. Mikey Nishikawa drove in three runs, while Caden Stinson had two RBI.

Eliah Laureles tossed a complete-game victory and allowed just three hits, while striking out three as Wilcox advanced to the semifinal round.
The Chargers will play Hollister on Wednesday.
Max Hales-Tzoutzov and Jordan Slate had two hits each for the Chargers, while Trey Herrera drove in a couple of runs.
