In another year, Nate Hui, one of the heroes of Serra's postseason run to its first CCS-Division I championship since 2009 and a runner-up finish in the Northern California tournament, would have been a shoo-in on the Postseason Prime 31.
You can also make cases for WCAL contemporaries Tanner Wall of Saint Francis, Jordan Ortiz and Kole Laubach of Valley Christian, Ollie McNamara of Bellarmine and Tedford Lewis of Sacred Heart Cathedral and Chase Gordon of St. Ignatius Prep.
And the top 31 would have assuredly been different had Valley's Hunter Fujimoto and Mitty's Waylon Walsh – both Santa Clara University commits – not suffered season-ending injuries.
