Third baseman JP Durrett had two hits, including a double, and drove in a pair for the Gators, who won their 10th game of the season and have now nine wins in their last 10 games.

Nicco Pollioni was in the middle of both Sacred Heart rallies, scoring a run in each, while collecting a double and a walk.

Morro Bay 11, Terra Nova 7

The Tigers' opener of the Central Coast Spring Classic in San Luis Obispo didn't go as they'd hoped.

Jesse Martinez was yanked in the fourth inning after giving up eight runs, just four of them earned and Terra Nova committed five errors.

That derailed an offensive performance that might have been good enough to win on most nights. Senior catcher Joey Donati had three hits and a pair of RBI, while Evan Wilson had two hits and Wes McDougal drove in two.

The Tigers return to the diamond on Wednesday when they'll take on Antascadero in a 10 a.m. contest.
