Woodside, aided by a nine-run first inning, continued its high-scoring ways, this time against a ranked team. The Wildcats pounded out 12 hits to beat visiting Hillsdale, 16-1.
Charles Dalrymple had three hits and four RBI, while Colby Fernandez and Carter Ball had two hits. Fernandez, who had a double and a triple, drove in two runs, while Ball had three RBI.
Anderson Comfort and John Tinson had home runs and two RBI for Woodside.
